I founded New-Build Design & Extensions to provide straightforward, practical extension design for modern homes.

I studied Architecture (Part 1), graduating with a First-Class BA (Hons) before moving into the construction industry. With over 7 years of experience across construction and residential design, I bring both practical site knowledge and an understanding of the planning system to every project.

Working on site gave me hands-on experience across a wide range of projects - from asbestos removal and structural strip-outs to the renovation of Grade I listed properties in Hammersmith, London, as well as residential builds across Hertfordshire.

Starting in construction shaped how I approach every project. Drawings need to be clear. Details need to be buildable. Designs need to work in the real world - not just look good on paper.

I later worked within an architectural practice, contributing to projects ranging from extensions and refurbishments to new-build homes. During that time, I developed strong experience working within the UK planning system, permitted development rules and building regulations. I have worked on numerous new-build housing projects and understand how modern estates are designed, constructed and extended efficiently.

That combination of site experience and planning knowledge means projects are approached with clarity, realism and efficiency from the outset.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, baking (usually standard loaves rather than anything fancy), and exploring how buildings and infrastructure are put together. I value structure, simplicity and clear communication - principles that define how I run this business.
